Hi, I'm Sarah.

I believe that technology and design can solve the world’s most complex problems. I’m inspired by people with the guts to tackle these problems; people who don’t accept the way things are just because the challenge to make change is too daunting.

I empower the change-makers tackling these Social Impact issues to be their most successful by joining in the journey from concept to launch and beyond.

For the last seven years, I’ve worked at Behance, a community that eight million creative professionals use to showcase their visual work. After joining in 2009 when Behance was a boot-strapping startup, I launched our Community Management team and solidified our feedback channels, member engagement, and brand voice.

After Behance joined the Adobe family in 2013, I continued to run Community, and became Head of User Trust & Safety, focusing on keeping our users safe, while also protecting free creative expression. By 2016, I additionally filled the role of Head of Product Marketing, empowering our users to create their best work and find amazing opportunities using our products.

Experiencing a company's growth from startup to corporation, and a community's growth from thousands of members to millions, gave me the opportunity to touch every part of the business and fill roles beyond  the constraints of my job description.

Having worked at the intersection of design and technology at Behance, I know first-hand how powerful these tools can be in creating innovative solutions to the challenges the creative industry faces.

Now, I apply my skills to teams directly addressing the “wicked problems” that need our attention. Not problems that's solutions will make life more comfortable or fun, but problems that's solutions will have a genuine impact on underserved and in-need communities.
